Things that are making me laugh right now:

Drake: 

(praying) "Please bless dad to be enormous, I'm grateful for rock AND rocks, please bless there will be a door in the grass to open and take me to the top of the mountains where there are no bears so I can slide down the mountain to Gaga's where it might be raining."

(to clarify, rock is like 'rock that', enormous means to be quiet)

 Bubba:  

"Idiot! Thtupid! I kick you in the nothe (nose)!" -it's hard not to laugh when he's yelling this"

"It'th not ok to thay idiot, bum bum, thtupid, thtinky, dose aren't good nithe wordth"

Family Pictures

It's not very often my whole family is together.  I think it'd been a couple years since we had seen everyone.  We took this opportunity, before the Wallace's headed back to Maryland, and Dave headed back to Texas (air linguistic training), and Cyd went to some new school in some new place, to take a family picture.

We took them up at Temple Square where everything was so bright and pretty!  I set my camera on a tripod, used the timer, and hoped for the best.  I'm glad they turned out well!

Fireman/boys

My neighbors security system went off one day and a firetruck and ambulance showed up.  The boys and their cousins were so excited to see them outside!  The nice paramedics hung around for a bit and let them see the ambulance and try on their gear, how nice was that?!  Such a fun little experience for them!

4th of July Weekend

Our 4th of July weekend was packed FULL of activities.  We had some friends from Colorado, the Bartel's, stay with us and we tried to stay busy.  

For the 4th our neighbors had a BBQ and fireworks.  It was so much fun and I love how many little kids live on our street! The food was great and the fireworks were fun!

The fireworks terrified Con.  He sat in the stroller at first and then requested to be put to bed. Banks slept through everything.

It was a great night!!!

The next day we took our guests up to a rainy Park City and showed them around.  The weather was nice and cool and it looked beautiful!

We then went to Temple Square where Johnny's friend Brett said it was like a Jesus Disneyland

 The next morning Johnny and I, and Brett and Melanie, ditched the kids and went four wheeling up in Midway, UT.  The weather was perfect and we had so much fun!  The views were incredible!  

After four-wheeling we headed home, picked up all the kids, then headed west to a man made lake an hour away.  Johnny's friends' parents had a home out there and let us come for the afternoon.  This was such a perfect place for all the little kids!

It was a great holiday weekend, crazy hectic, and we loved showing the Bartel's the great place we live!  Now someone else please come visit so we can do it all again!
