I actually finished something...

Have I ever told you about Johnny and his problem with baby furniture?
Well, one time when I was 8 months pregnant with my first child, I started panicking that we had no crib, changing table, rocker, etc.. I kept bringing it up to Johnny who told me we didn't need "baby furniture".

Finally, one afternoon when I was having an emotional breakdown about having a baby and needing some furniture, Johnny said "I just don't see why we need little leather baby couches and chairs and stuff!".  So, I learned two things.  1.  Even though Johnny came from a family with ten kids (that means a lot of babies), he still thought "baby furniture" implied things that a baby would furnish an apartment with.  2. This was the beginning of a long life of misunderstandings and miscommunication.

Two years later he let me buy a $25 baby recliner at a consignment sale to recover, and I've slowly been trying to get the baby living room set since.

The only reason I tell this story and post these pictures is that it's the only project I've started and completed in 6 years and it still gets used.
