2012 was a great year for us.  It was fun, busy, hectic, relaxing, exhausting, chaotic, and full of laughter and crying.  Here are the many, many photos of our year in review:

January
Our backyard lot still looked like it was inhabited by a bum.

The boys enjoyed the snow, what little bit we got.  I stayed inside and painted.

February

The boys received their first real haircuts - I was tired of doing it, cleaning up the mess, and not getting paid.

With the help of Aunt SueSue, we took the boys to Disneyland and SeaWorld.  I wanted to go before baby #4 came, and it was so fun to watch the boys reactions to everything!

March

On the 16th we celebrated Bubba's 3rd birthday.  He still talks about Birthday Cake Lightening

We also celebrated my 27th birthday, and one request was matching cousin basketball uniforms.  Johnny came through!

We demolished our uninhabitable house!  And clear lots of trees and stumps.

We did whatever occupied our afternoons to get us through the winter!

...and spent quality time lunching with cousins.

April

The boys hunted for eggs at my grandma's retirement center with their cousins and we had a great Easter!

We enjoyed the warmer weather of Spring!

I attempted photos of the boys, with the help of a patient friend.

May

I was about to explode, but I was still ready to wait until June 15th for our fourth baby to join us.

Luckily we were about to open the pool to occupy the boys, and I filled the mornings with outings like "temple donut day", where we would pick up a dozen and sit in the temple parking lot and talk about important things like how Lightening McQueen can hear even though he has no ears.

Johnny took me on my first helicopter ride.

And three weeks ahead of schedule we welcomed Banks into our family.

I was still in the hospital with Banks on Memorial Day, but his brothers took a patriotic photo.

Everyone was so excited about the addition to our family!...

...minus one, who felt replaced.

June

Drake played T-Ball for the first time, and watching ten five year olds run around was everything I had hoped to see.

We went to Orem's city carnival, Summerfest.

We played with cousins!

Had a girls night!

Spent most of my time holding a baby while Johnny loved doing boys stuff with his big boys.

Had a family BBQ and played volleyball.

Had a cousin campout, complete with stories around the campfire.

July

We had a great 4th of July at a neighborhood BBQ, complete with fireworks and a crying Con.

The boys got their first ride in an ambulance, and didn't even need an emergency to do it!

We enjoyed everything about the summer, from the warmth and sunshine to the yard work, flowers, and late nights!

Banks was able to take the oxygen off he'd been using so I took baby pictures!

Johnny finished his first year of coaching, and I think you can see how happy he was to be done : )

We took family pictures and spent as much time with the Wallace's as we could before they moved back to Maryland and left us to be sad until they come visit again.

August

In August they got the sprinkler system installed and started on the sidewalk!

Johnny and I said goodbye to our superheroes and headed to San Bernardino, California to watch Johnny's little brother, Austin, play to get into the Little League World Series.  Then we spent a night in Huntington Beach before heading home.

We took the family up to Montana to see Johnny's family and had a blast! The boys spent lots of time with crazy cousins, rode the horse (learned just how bad Bubba's and Drake's allergies to horses are), and jumped on the trampoline.

Drake started preschool (and of course Bubba had to get a backpack too).

And we said goodbye to Johnny's somewhat-but-not-really adopted brother Kyle, who left to Russia on his mission.

September

I can't believe how fast the leaves changed this fall!  We took some great drives up the canyon.

We got the yard as finished as it was going to be this year!  We got the sprinklers in, track finished, fence up, trampoline in and sod laid.  Then we spent the rest of the warm weather enjoying it!

(this shows the fence finally down where the yards connect)

On Labor Day Johnny, my dad, and his brother Mike, hiked Mount Timpanogos, a tradition they've started.  They woke up at 3:00am, started at 4:00am, and got home by 3:00pm. It seems too exhausting, but beautiful!

We attended a fundraiser (which made the loss that much more depressing).

And we ate chocolate cake when we celebrated Johnny's 34th birthday!

October

The weather in October was AMAZING!  We were still swimming and soaking up the sun.  I thought I'd try brown hair for a while.

Banks was still getting used to the mayhem of brothers.

Johnny spent most of the month out of town.  One of those times I thought I'd attempt family photos as a surprise for him.  I had LOTS of help, and I don't think I'll be doing that again soon.

We had a great Halloween! We went to three different parties so there was an assortment of costumes.  First Bubba was a punk, then I was a cruel parent and dressed him as Golem. He didn't want to put clothes on, I had to work with it.
Johnny's work trained it's employees how to do the Thriller dance, then hired pro makeup artists and put on a flash-mob-style performance at an outdoor mall.

November

At the beginning of November I went to Las Vegas with these lovely women and spent four days going door to door to registered republicans and reminding them when and where to vote.  It was hard work!

Drake took his first ever field trip to a farm!  We saw pigs, took a hay ride, and smelled the wonderful farm smells.  It was great spending the day with him, and Drake loved spending it with his girlfriend, Jazi.

I taught Con how to babysit, he does a great job!  He totally sits on baby every day.

Bubba played with Cars, while watching Cars, and singing Cars songs.

We got our first snow of the season!  I loved it, until it took half of my favorite tree.  Johnny spent the next three days cutting it all down : (

We had a great Thanksgiving!  Johnny's Grandma and Mom flew in from Colorado and we went to my moms house for the feast.  My boys got to spend it with two of their Great-Grandma's!  I got to eat my moms wonderful cooking and be with my favorite people (minus Johnny, who went to Montana for his brothers temple sealing)!

 December

December came so quickly! The month seemed so busy with preparing for Christmas, Christmas parties, and family outings.

We had an impromptu photo session, which made for great photos like this!

The one time a year Johnny and I get dressed up to go out,
the Property Solutions Christmas Party.

We saw Santa, and Con absolutely hated it.

On Christmas Eve we had the greatest snowfall ever, and Johnny took the boys out back and made a snow family. The boys tackled each other and played King of the Hill.

Christmas Eve night we went to my moms like we do every year.  We had great food, a great Christmas message provided by Uncle Dave, sang songs, and had a fun white elephant gift exchange.  We took the opportunity to get a family pic with my Grandma!

We took a picture after Santa visited, before the morning chaos : )

And now we have way more Mater's than Bubba had ever dreamed for.

We had an amazing year, and I'm grateful for our health and this beautiful family that brings me so much joy!
