School Starts

I'm not ready for these boys to be in school, but they were ready to leave me!  It made it harder for me this year :(

Drake and Pierce go to a small private school and LOVE it.  Each of their classes has 10 kids and a lot of the subjects are divided and/or overlap so they spend a lot of their day with each other.  Recess, Spanish, lunch, P.E., dance, and yoga.  I love how much they get to be together throughout the day.

We celebrated two Birthdays in September!  Conrad turned 4 and Johnny turned...36, I think.
I've been teasing him about being 40 for years so I've forgotten his real age.

Johnny took the boys to Hang Time and loved that they were so little, waiting in line with the big kids for the rope swings.

Romney's 6 month checkup verified that he's chubby, and Banks worked on washing hands and getting stranded.

We used the pool as much as we could before fall and colder weather came, and played outside with the new pup.

Johnny had a work conference up in Park City and I got to take a break from my mothering responsibilities and join him!

We went riding and remember just how allergic Johnny is to horses - even on a full dose of Benadryl he couldn't breath and had to keep his eyes closed the whole time.
And we saw one of our favorite friends, Miss Virginia Love, who is awesome.

The last night we brought all the boys up to swim in the balcony hot tub, watch movies, and do some family activities.

We hung out at home...

...and it was all exhausting.
