Bubba Pierce is 2!

On March 16th Bubba turned two! Let me first say, I love my Bubbs. This past year he has grown so much, talks, and has gotten such a unique, funny personality! He makes funny faces, loves Cars, and entertains himself for hours. I'm very lucky to be his mommy : )

His Birthday was celebrated in two parts. On the 11th, Johnny and I took Drake and Bubbs to Disney on Ice. I wasn't sure how this would be received, but the boys were actually pretty enthusiastic about the whole thing! We got them treats and popcorn and when the show started they were both totally into it. At the intermission, however, I asked Drake if he was having fun and he replied, "Not so much". Bubba soon grew tired too, resorting to playing with the popcorn bucket on the floor, watching the skaters upside down, and whacking the heads of the people on front of us. It was fun, but not something I will be doing again any time soon : )

Part two of the celebration was a small Cars themed party at our house. My Aunt Chris and her family were in town and came over to have some pizza and cake, as well as Johnny's brothers and my parents and sister. Although Bubba had no idea what everyone was there for, he enjoyed being the center of attention! He added GREATLY to his Cars collection with 2 Docs, 2 helicopters, 2 Guido's, and the firetruck Red. I also got him some Cars flip-flops that he likes to throw at me.

The best part of the night (for me) was watching everyone try to get Bubba to blow out his candles. He kept saying "Fiyee hot! no touch!" I'm glad he understands he's not supposed to touch the "fiyee" but maybe next year he'll learn its ok to blow it out!
