In July Johnny went to scout camp in southern Utah. Part of the service he gives to our church is teaching the 14-16 year old boys on Sundays, does different activities and boy scout trainings on Tuesday nights, and on occasion, goes camping with them. He had a great time in Escalante with all of the boy scouts and their leaders, and learned a few things (considering he never did scouting when he was growing up).
My Grandma passed away at the end of July, and although it is sad she is gone, I'm grateful that it brought all of my extended family together to celebrate her life. My Grandpa passed away 7 years ago and it was so comforting knowing that she finally got to be with him again in heaven!
All of my aunts, uncles, and cousins were together for the first time in years! We had a party at our house and got some photos of the whole group.

Each of the granddaughters got a ring of my Grandma's
The following evening we had a BBQ up the canyon with a lot of the same group! It was my dad's birthday. I am so grateful for my dad, who is a constant example of all things good. I love the conversations we have of deep things, and the many lessons he's taught me throughout my life!
In July our laundry room remodel was almost complete! There are still some things left to finish (I want to paint the tile floor), but the addition of the door, shower, laundry shoot, utility closet, and counter top make doing laundry organized and enjoyable!
...and Romney loved summer, eating and getting chubbier by the second.
