It Was a Busy April - Long post

April was a crazy month for us. There was something going on every week. It was great having Mary out for Easter, and Steve came out right after. Johnny took a business trip to Chicago right after Steve left. We saw Johnny's family again the next week, in Colorado. We were also able to see the Wallaces, and the Allbee's (even though it was only a couple of hours). We were home for a short while before Johnny headed back to Denver for a business trip, leaving me alone with my two little guys. May will definitely be a month of relaxation.
Here are some pictures from each event.

The day after Mary left, Steve flew out and he, Johnny and Drake left on a road trip. They went to Pittsburg, where the Hanna line comes from, to do some genealogy, then to Kirtland, OH, and Palmyra, NY to see the church sites.

Johnny's Grandpa passed away this month. We flew out to Pueblo, Co to attend the funeral. Although it was sad to see him go, it was a beautiful and uplifting service. It was really nice to see all of Johnny's family.

Drake got to play with cousin Hanna. They didn't get along most of the time, but luckily there were a few moments of them both smiling and laughing. Maybe they'll like each other more next time : )

While in Pueblo, we stopped by and visited Johnny's godmother, Viola.

Drake, being the gentleman that he is, helped this random woman push her walker down the hall. (Then tried to take her pills.)

Before we headed back to Philly, we stopped by the Wallace's for a brief visit. It was fun to watch Brady and Drake play together and get along so well (for the most part).

Drake hated the slide. So far, playgrounds are no fun.

Brett: "Brady, are you having fun playing with Drake?"
Brady: "No, not quite."

On our layover in Salt Lake we were able to see Mimi and Pappa. They brought us Cafe Rio and hung out for a few hours with the babies.

At the Sixers game, Johnny tailgated, laughed, cried, and cheered. It was his first ever playoff game.

Amazing seats, thanks to Frank

On the first warm weekend of the Spring, we headed to the beach in Ocean City, NJ. It was a little chilly and breezy, but Drake still had fun playing in the sand and walking in the water.

And last, I've been left home with these two boys while Johnny is gone on business. They look so innocent, but I swear they are out to make me lose my mind.

Especially this one.

You HAVE been busy, but you always get such great pictures! And I really love the one of Drake at the end looking so innocent...he is so funny!
