Another month in pictures.  I love Spring!! 

We started the month with my nephews birthday.  Brady turned 6 and allowed me to attempt a six layer birthday cake.  I failed, it was only 4 layers, but I had fun making it!  I don't think we could've fit more candles on top, and the Oreo decor was Bubba's doing.  

Easter was a two day event.  Saturday we went up to my grandma's condo, where she lives in an assisted living home.  They put on a big Easter egg hunt with donuts and a bunny.  You can see Bubba thought the bunny was awesome.

That night the adults had fun coloring easter eggs, pretending the kids cared. 

I don't know why I was so ridiculously excited about the boys Easter outfits this year, but I was!  My mother-in-law has always provided their Easter attire and when I requested "colorful pants", she came through!  I found the ties and boat shoes, and I think they were a hit. People at church didn't know what to say : ) Con may never forgive me, but it was worth it. 

There were a lot of naps taken, baseball in the front yard, and an attempt at some shopping at Target.  I thought letting the boys play with all of the Cars toys before heading over to the pharmacy was a good idea. Dumb. It resulted in the biggest Bubba tantrum to date, and a number of people asking me if I needed help, or consoling me that life would get easier. 

I tried to find some resemblance to me and my kids.  It's still an ongoing debate if any of them look like me.

Con spent a good week being sick.  Johnny liked it because Con wanted to sleep with him at night, I liked it because well, honestly, sick kids mean cuddly kids. 

There were a lot of messes involving Nutella and fry sauce, among other things.

Lots of playing outside in the warm weather! 

Pictures in the park, and duck feeding/chasing.  If you are wondering why Con is crying, it's because I put him in a field of tulips and said "smile".  He wanted to be held.  

Don't tell him what to do.
