Our May started out with a tumble down the backyard steps. This ouchy took a good 30 minutes to console. I had to tell him it wasn't his fault he tried to ride a tricycle down the stairs, it was the stairs fault for not being a ramp.
I now go through four bags of Sonic ice a week. I should've invested in an ice machine three pregnancies ago.
I striped my pots and planted the front yard. I won't take full credit for this, had my sister not done the majority of it I would have dead cases of flowers in the garage.
Mother's Day weekend was great! Two girlfriends and I spent a night in Park City, with room service in the morning, shopping, and lunch. The food was sooo good, and so was the conversation!
I'm reminded of my boys everywhere I go.
There was even a hot tub on our balcony, soooo relaxing.
Mother's Day I woke up to breakfast in bed and Bubba singing "Happy Mother's day toooooo...your phone!" It was the best rendition of Happy Birthday to You I've ever heard.
We had a BBQ with my family for dinner, and the only reason I took a picture of the potatoes I washed before baking is because Drake came up and said "Wow, great stacking Mom! You are so good at that!" Such a nice compliment.
Salad boats are my new favorite thing ever. It's like a salad taco!
Con thoroughly enjoyed the aforementioned baked potatoes.
And, most recently, I dropped my phone. I had no boy around me to place the blame, I just pulled it out of my pocket, watched it slip out of my hands, and land face first on the hard ground.
