July went by quickly, and was relaxing and low key.
We said a sad goodbye to our cousins.
We welcomed another addition to the family...
Not a baby, a truck for Johnny. He can now do manly things like go up in the mountains and haul stuff. Me and Con were pretty happy for him.

Johnny took me to Houston to see a family from his mission get married in the temple. I was able to meet so many of the people he taught and that took care of him!
I had to take my shoes off so I wasn't towering over the married couple :)
Quick stop to NASA to see this giant rocket.
Drove around Johnny's area and I tried to not picture 19 year old Johnny walking door to door in the hot humidity. I also tried not to think about sending my boys to a place like this for two years...
We did stop for some awesome Mexican food, that made me not feel as sorry for him. I could eat Mexican food every day.

Then turned around to see my little baby doing the same thing. Like the two tone doors? A perfect example of me starting things and not finishing them.

I lost a close high school friend at the end of July and am still so saddened by it. She was one of the funniest, smartest, and clever girls I knew growing up. So much of who I am came from her.
