Catching up on 2013 - June

Always playing catch up with this blog.  I remind myself that this is our family journal, and the boys LOVE going back and seeing the things we've done.  So, after looking through 200 photos from June, here are some that summarize the month.

We planted our first garden!  It was so fun and I can't wait to do it again, taking what I've learned and doing it better!  I never got tired of the evenings spent mowing the lawn, watching the boys run around the yard. I especially love when they do it as superheroes.

While Johnny surfed on a trip to Florida (or California), I kept myself busy by the pool.  And no, Johnny didn't go in the nude, he just likes to wear tiny Speedos and act like he's wearing nothing.

Date night at the Utah Symphony in Park City.

T-ball games!  Bubba's attitude towards the game was love/hate.  Con wasn't on the team, but cared more than Bubba or Drake, so we eventually dressed him in a red shirt and hat and sent him out in the field like he was part of the team.  Johnny enjoyed being the assistant coach, and me and Banks loved watching from the shade.

We were given a bouncy house!   I attempted putting it next to the pool to make it a water slide, but no one really cared for it.  I thought it was fun to look at though.

Banks gave me dirty looks regularly.

We had good days and bad days.  Con had good hours and bad hours.

Orem City's Summerfest carnival was the greatest, as usual.  Here are pictures from Friday's face painting, followed by Saturday's face painting and parade, with fireworks at night!

The Wallace's came to town so we made sure to spend some time at our favorite park up the canyon.  It's hard to think it will be this green again, as I type this with snow on the mountains outside.

Classic Bubba face.

 Oops, missed the rock.

Banks talking to Livvy.

A picture of great grandma and her 6 great grand-boys.

Double date with Amber and Brett, four-wheeling up the canyon.  It was awesome!

Followed up with a backyard fire and smore's night.

And then, cute baby Banks had a bath in the sink and made us all happy with his pure joy of playing with the water faucet and bottle scrubber.
